They were on the same path even before they knew each other. She feels the work of fate in the way their lives turned out. Zoé talks about her guide dog and herself. 

Adria has greatly contributed to me finding great friends in Miskolc. I simply can’t imagine my life without her. Sometimes there are events that I don’t take her with me, and then I simply feel a sense of loss.

 We have very similar personalities, we are both very sensitive and can love deeply, but at the same time we are also prone to all kinds of mischief. 

I love her very much and I try to give her everything. We play a lot and take her for walks, she gets lots of petting and, of course, delicious treats. I feel like I’ve found a companion in her.

Path towards the new life

This is a different kind of love, and you only really experience it when you have a guide dog. One day I was thinking about how interesting fate is. When Adria was born on June 12, 2022, I was still preparing for my high school graduation, and then when I spent my first year of university in Budapest, she also spent her first year of her life in Budapest. Then when I started the assisted living course in January, she also started training. It’s such a chilling feeling to think that both of our fates were written in advance – fate already knew whose guide dog she would be, when I was very much not in that situation in life. 

During my course, it gave me immense strength to know that Adria was also learning so that we could continue learning together afterwards. If it weren’t for her, I can definitely say that I wouldn’t be where I am now, because I would never have dared to do the routes with a white cane that I can do with peace of mind with her.
