Trabant, Trubadúr, Tramikulás… How much do they love the dog that has so many nicknames? A guide dog is just as perfect a companion for family members as it is for its visually impaired owner. The story of Vera, Noémi, and Tramini is a great example of this.
We assure you that each of our dogs is a family member, as we only give loyal companions to those who appreciate them. We have now made an article and video about one such dog and his family.
We can continue the list of nicknames with Trubadúr and Tarhonya – the danger of over-loving does not endanger our guide dog because it is indispensable in several roles.
His owner, Vera Várnai-Kun, said that her life has become much easier with Tramini, as she gets to work and anywhere else safer when doing her daily chores:
Tramini makes driving easier by not having to pay attention to what’s in front of me and behind me. He easily avoids obstacles almost unnoticed.
Santa Claus didn’t find the mug of milk
Tramini’s most active name giver is Noémi, a fifth grader, who is a very good friend of our guide dog, and it’s a joy to see that she loves and hugs him like her own. She would have liked a smaller dog, but it’s good that a larger one arrived who listens to her and walks nicely next to her.
We prepared a mug of milk for Santa Claus, I labeled it “For Santa Claus.” Trami took it and drank it, and then we named him Tramikulas.
– said Noémi.
It’s touching when mother and daughter walk home holding hands. Tramini walks beside them on a leash, not leading, but resting, while Noémi helps her mother with love and attention.“
“Tramini has integrated beautifully into the family; he has a lovely way of making his presence known, simply waiting to be petted. Everyone loves him in their own way. For Noémi, it is especially important that he is by her side—whether she is sad or happy. As a first dog, he is perfect, and he definitely fits well into our lives,” said Vera.
