Mothers raising three children can donate 1% of their personal income tax to a civil organization for the last time this year. The Baráthegyi Guide Dog and Assistance Dog School Foundation is drawing attention to the fact that, due to a lack of information, many of those affected are unaware of this. As a result, the legal amendment may already cause a significant loss of income for civil organizations this year, which is why it is important to talk about it as much as possible.
From 2026, mothers raising three children will no longer have to pay personal income tax, but this year they can still decide about donating 1% of their tax. Due to the lack of information, we are experiencing that many affected people are unaware of this opportunity. Therefore, the legislative change may already result in considerable revenue loss for civil organizations this year.
In order to save what can still be saved, we call on mothers of three children to allocate 1% of their tax to trustworthy civil organizations that are important to them. In 2027, this will no longer be possible, which will certainly mean a significant loss for the affected civil organizations.
Of course, mothers with two children can also donate 1% of their tax, and there is no obstacle to doing so.
We feel it is our duty to inform you about this important opportunity to support reliable civil organizations that serve a good cause — likely the last opportunity for mothers of three children to provide such support.
Dear mothers of three children, please save this year’s 1%! Civil organizations are counting on you!

There are many organizations worthy of support. If you choose the Baráthegyi Guide Dog and Assistance Dog School Foundation, you will help support the training of guide dogs who become loyal companions to their owners for life.
They help their owners get to work, pick up their children from school, go shopping, and they mean far more than any non-living assistive device.
Twenty years ago we began our work, and since then we have provided more than two hundred guide dogs free of charge to visually impaired applicants. In addition, we have trained personal assistance dogs, mobility assistance dogs, and therapy dogs.
Our mission is to ensure that as many people in need as possible can live more independent, autonomous, and safer lives with the help of an assistance dog by their side.
Our main activity is the training of guide dogs, because there is a great need for them in Hungary. Currently, only about 1% of visually impaired people are assisted by a guide dog, even though guide dogs provide far greater support in everyday life than any mechanical assistive device.
