Borsó’s puppies are now seven weeks old and the smallest pup
has already grown to 6.5 kilograms. Their personalities are developing nicely, they are a lively and strong team. It’s true, as the saying goes: Borsó is small, but strong – and now so are her puppies!
Their caregiver, Leidgeb Melinda, sees a real little mischievous group around her every day.
Play, play, play
Borsó is no longer just a caring mother, but has become a playmate for the little ones. “Borsó goes over the fence by herself to the little ones, who chase their mother and play with her,” added Melinda.
The little explorers are becoming more and more resourceful, they have already dug their first hole.
Eating, paddling and exploring the world
The little ones have a huge appetite, but they are breastfeeding less and less, and are eating dry food instead of soaked food. They are also very happy about this, spinning around when they are fed, as if a real little dancing dinner is about to begin. Not only is solid food consumed in large quantities, but water is also consumed – they love splashing around so much that they not only drink from the water bowl, but also splash around in it.
Individualities in the team
Although they are all lively, they each have their own unique personalities. The firstborn, the largest puppy, was calm at first, but has now become a real bad boy. The previous troublemaker, who was the most mischievous, has now become more thoughtful. The thirdborn, on the other hand, has retained his calm, cautious nature. The little girl sweeps everyone off their feet with her willful but people-oriented behavior. She always knows what she wants, and she also has a very affectionate character. “She is the first to rush after me, if I leave for a short time, she cries and she is the last to stay outside with me,” said Melinda.

The world is a big game
For the puppies, everything is a game: they still have fun with the broom, and they absolutely love the chicken squeaky toy. The little team pulls and tugs on the plush toys, and they eagerly grab the little ball-like eggs. Their development is progressing step by step, becoming more independent, stronger, and smarter.
