Borsó and Monsoon met last summer. They were immediately inseparable from the first moment. Their puppies were born a week ago, and since then, they have been developing well. Their personalities are starting to take shape, and it’s becoming clear who looks more like which parent.

The first period of time

Melinda Leidgeb, Borsó’s handler, mentioned that the birth was an exciting experience:

“This was her first litter and the entire process was unknown for her. We were very excited, but everything went well, the three male and the only female are healthy, and Borsó has embraced her role as a mother.”

The four puppies are developing well

“They are eating well, their weight has doubled. They have this in common, but it is very interesting to see that there are no two puppies alike. One of the males looks exactly like Monsoon, and considering their personalities they all have different characters. One of them is more ambitious, the other one is calmer. The only female is fragile, a real princess compared to her three brothers. It’s adorable to hear them call out to Borsó, and she comes to them in a moment.”

Borsó is improving alongside the puppies

According to Melinda, it is wonderful to see how Borsó’s maternal side unfolds:

“It’s so nice to see how Borsó is improving, and it’s especially a great pleasure that she’s experiencing motherhood now. I feel that she is learning and growing from it as well.”

The puppies are currently spending their days with their mother, and their eyes and ears begin to open around the second week.
