Borsó’s puppies have reached the age of eight weeks, and a new chapter in their lives will soon begin. These 8-9 weeks were defining not only for the puppies, but also for those who took care of them. Melinda Leidgeb, who has been lovingly watching over them for the past few months, shared her thoughts with us about each of the puppies.
Indián – the big sleeper
A true alpha male, like his father. Big boy, pot-bellied, loves to eat and snore. Wise, thoughtful character. People-oriented, but prefers to rest on the ground, not on a lap. He often retreats, he has always been the biggest sleeper, but is still ready for action.
– said Melinda about Indián.
Ispán – the bad boy
He was born a mischievous child, who is important and always interested in everything. He is the biggest shoelace chewer, loves to take things apart, a real little troublemaker. At the same time, he is also a clown, loves to joke, and is very enthusiastic about people. He is energetic, always cheerful and carries out his plans.
Isler – the calm conqueror
He is a real sweet boy, people-oriented, loves to lick, stays calm even on your lap. He has a very pretty face, he is the darkest color. He is not as big a noisemaker as Indián, but he is also big. He is calm, he often just sits and looks out of his head, but when he starts playing, he bites the biggest.
Íbisz – the charming little girl
She is the most humane, the only girl in the group – my sweetheart, she is so charming. She is a curious, social dog who is strongly attached to people. She is kind, lickable, and together with Ispán she plays with Borsó the most. A typical girl: she follows the rules, but also the most hysterical, who cries when I leave.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience
Melinda’s life has been full of challenges, but also joy, over the past 8-9 weeks.
“This period was very exciting, but I am happy that I will be more prepared for the second litter. Being a mother dog was completely new territory for both me and Borsó. It was nice to watch them develop, it is a real achievement. The puppies are already quite big.”
Saying goodbye won’t be easy, as the presence of the puppies brought joy and love to everyday life.
They will be missed, it will be very quiet without them. They are full of life, and they pass this joy of life on to us. It was exciting to see their development, as they will be service dogs, and they already have a strong bond with people and love them. It is clear that they were truly born to be human companions.
We would like to thank Leidgeb Melinda and Leidgeb Dániel for giving Borsó a loving home and for their dedicated care of the puppies. The little ones have been given the best possible start in life.
We wrote about the litter in this article last time.
