Alexa and Titan Pass Exam With Flying Colours

Alexa Vertesi, a university student from Budapest and her guide dog Titan passed the traffic safety test on a crowded and difficult route with ease.

You could tell straight away that Alexa and Titan have a close-knit relationship

-said Emese Barkoczi Kiralyne, Titan’s trainer.

There were quite a few unexpected hurdles during the exam. The dynamic duo had to navigate around bins and electric scooters left lying around and deal with crowded buses and bus stops. Alexa’s daily journey from home to university is a long and busy route but she and her guide dog managed it without any difficulties. They form a really strong pair and work together perfectly

-said Piroska Komodni, Head of Training at Barathegyi Guide Dog School.

We are really grateful to Titan’s puppy host family, Flora Hambuch. She and her family came along to personally congratulate Titan and Alexa for passing their exam.
We would also like to thank members of the exam board for their work: Edit Malyi Juhaszne, Linda Rozsa and Piroska Komondi.

We would also like to say thank you to Emese, Titan’s trainer for training such a wonderful dog and companion for Alexa.
We wish Alexa and Titan many happy years together!
