Antónia Kállai is a proper downtown woman. She lives just some minutes away from the Oktogon and Andrássy Avenue. Hustle and bustle, culture, having fun – especially at the theatre are the most important for her.
„Iram (Pace) also likes theatre, and even more the cinema because the smells are better there. You have to be silent in the theatre and if he snores, it could be a little disturbing.” tells Ani smiling.
Although, she doesn’t have her own balcony the downtown recompensing her in everything. Every time when they are at the streets something always happens. In the alternative pubs and and clubs they often find small concerts with 30-40 people and both her and Iram really like these.

Iram loves being in the city centre
Ani lives in the city centre with her dogs since a decade. Iram and also her previous dog had been trained by the Baráthegyi Guide Dog School. Ani told us that isnt’t every dog like the hustle-bustle of Budapest. Felhő (Cloud) was a more calmer partner and for him this would have been too much. But Iram is really different.
This energetic, really curious and open-minded dog became a proper downtown dog. He is absolutely compatible with the city: he can avoid the crowd easily, but also very confident when they are in it. He adores long walks, so they’re not always necessarily visiting dog parks to let off steam. They’re exploring the streets of Terézváros every day about one and a half – two hours long.

The perfect partner and savior
Beside his curiousity his owner always is in the focus for Iram.
„Anything happens, my reaction is always the most important for him. This is the first what he observes and everything else is comes just after this.”

This strong bond guarantees the attention and safety. Ani tells us how important the awereness of her dog when they are getting around.
„Iram is a highly well-trained dog. He saved me not just once from scooters who ride aginst the rules or ride too fast, or food delivery men who rides on the sidewalk.”

Summer plans
During the hot days Ani and Iram slow down a bit. Of course, they also need the closeness of the nature in these times. (That’s why the Városliget is good.) They regularly visit parks, dog-fanciers and dog parks with water. Whenever they can, they left behind the city and go on long trips in nature.
Ani is grateful because she can live where she really loves and she has such a great, reliable partner beside her and they can take the hurdle easier.
