From a Gift to Opportunity – Together We Can Go Far

From a Gift to Opportunity – Together We Can Go Far

SMC Hungary Ltd. has selected our foundation as one of the supported organizations, making it possible for us to improve the lives of more visually impaired people and make them safer. The Baráthegyi Guide Dog and Assistance Dog School Foundation, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, has so far provided more than 200 guide dogs free of charge to visually impaired applicants. In this effort, we have found a new partner in the Hungarian branch of a globally recognized industrial automation company.

SMC Hungary organized a special gifting program centered around the power of community and helping others. Based on the votes of their partners and employees, we were chosen as one of the supported organizations, enabling us to make the lives of more visually impaired people easier and safer.

Why is supporting the training of guide dogs important?

Why is supporting the training of guide dogs important?

Guide dogs provide practical assistance to their handlers, and beyond that, they are true companions who offer safety, independence, and a better quality of life. SMC Hungary’s Christmas initiative last year was not only a form of financial support for us, but also an example of social responsibility: it shows how much change cooperation and helping others can bring.

The Power of Cooperation

We would like to thank SMC Hungary for choosing a noble cause that creates lasting value instead of traditional Christmas gifts. We believe that initiatives like this inspire not only the supported organizations but the entire community. We are grateful to all our supporters who place their trust in us. Together, we truly are capable of achieving change!

Ways to Support

The training of guide dogs is not funded by the state. Our foundation raises the necessary funds through individual donations, corporate support, and 1% tax donations. You can read more about corporate partnerships on our website.
