We held the naming ceremony of our 26th litter. Borsó’s future guide puppies received special names from the followers of our foundation’s Facebook page.
Five black and four yellow Labrador puppies were born, a mixture of males and females. Their mother is a dog from the Baráthegyi Guide and Assistance Dog School Foundation, Borsó, and their father is a French breeding male, Elba.

Feta the dog drew the names of all nine Labradors. We will call them: Oreo, Orka, Orgona, Onix, Oberon, Olíva, Olympia, Obsidian and Orbit.
The training of guide dogs is not supported by the Hungarian state. Our foundation provides the necessary financial background through donations and 1% of personal income taxes.
They have a bright future ahead of them! They will soon move to puppy raising families, then learn the profession of guide dogs, and eventually become loyal partners to their visually impaired owners for 8-10 years.

We are 20 years old
The Baráthegyi Guide and Assistance Dog School Foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Over the past two decades, we have provided more than 200 guide dogs free of charge. With them, we make the life of visually impaired people easier, more independent and safer.
Many people in the country are waiting for our guide dogs.
Please support their training with 1% of your personal income tax!
