With Guide Dogs at the Bosch Summer Camp

Our little team got a very warm welcome at the Bosch summer camp we visited. First we talked with the children about visually impaired people and guide dogs, and then some volunteers showed us how they would help a person with sight loss cross the road at a zebra crossing. Finally we together learned  the proper ways to help.

With Diamond

The biggest sensations were Delta, Diamond and Lego, the demonstrator dogs who showed the children what it is like to walk with the help of a guide dog. For their brave participation, the children got some cool fridge magnets and – thanks to our colleague – each of them received a personalized explanatory leaflet with their names written on it in Braille. We had a great time together! Thank you for the invitation!
