Roland Orban and guide dog Orion pass traffic safety exam.
The dynamic duo’s route started in the heart of Budapest. Busy roads bustling with inner city life, Roland and Orion had to keep up the pace while walking in downtown Budapest which provided a nice cardio workout for members of the examination board, too. There were a lot of distractions along the way: another dog popping up from nowhere, a car parked on the pavement, bins and scooters left in the middle of the sidewalk and large crowd of people gathered for the opening of Budapest’s newest shopping mall, Etele Plaza.
Roland and Orion worked together superbly and managed to walk past all distractions. They passed the exam with straight As and Orion’s trainer Monika Kobli felt really proud today.
We would like to thank members of the examination board, Zsoka Bernath, Viktoria Varga and Maria Kovacs Nyirine for their work. We would also like to thank Tamas Kiss for volunteering to be Orion's puppy host family and for raising such a wonderful guide dog companion for a visually impaired person!
Congratulations Roland and Orion and we wish you many happy years together!
