Kriszta Bogdán and her guide dog, Ebu have passed their exam

We are pleased to announce that yet another guide dog team have passed their exam in this new year! This time the exam took place in Kriszta Bogdán’s hometown, Komló on 7 January.

Our readers may remember Kriszta and her smart and playful guide dog, Ebu from our past posts. They are the newest team of Baráthegyi Guide Dog School to have passed their exam. The „dress rehearsal” of their new life together was their first Christmas holidays, that they spent in a truly festive mood. Their relationship was made official by their successful traffic safety exam where Ebu did an excellent job in  every exam situation. Travelling on a bus, visiting a big, crowded department store and getting around in town was no problem at all for him. Guide dogs are an invaluable help for their owners in everyday situations like these.

Kriszta says that the most wonderful gift she received this Christmas was Ebu – and she has all the good reasons to feel this way. The two-year-old labrador will be her lifelong companion, a real friend to help her cope with all the challenges that she, like all visually impaired people, has to face in her everyday life. We wish both of them a successful, happy life together!
