We participated in the Students’ Council Day of Lőrinc Szabó Elementary School in Miskolc in response to the invitation of class 8N. The pupils greeted us with great enthusiasm. With the help of Bodza, the guide-dog-in-training, many pupils could try out what it feels like to walk with such a wonderful four-legged helper.
We visited the students of the Unified Special Education Methodology Institute and Primary School in Józsefváros, Budapest. The children were very enthusiastic about us. Ágota Lukács talked about the everyday life of visually impaired people to the children and what her guide dog Vacak means to her.
Our friends using a guide dog participated in the spring Rehab Critical Mass march on Sunday. Dóra Pozsgay, who took part in the march with her guide dog Ében, recalls her experiences:

On Friday we celebrated Animal Appreciation Day at the City Park in Miskolc. Many enthusiastic animal lovers joined us and wanted to see our guide dogs. Adults and children alike took turns and put on an eye-pad to experience what it is like to walk with the help of a guide dog.
